MARY MARY is a wild, tender and physically thrilling multidisciplinary show that smashes the traditional archetypes of MARY the Mother and MARY Magdalene, two women created to serve female oppression. Balance must be restored; the feminine experience rebuilt. Mary’s vulnerability and power may pull us through…

Through evocative dance theatre, rich religious iconography, provocative latin text and anarchic humour, a group of unruly ‘Marys’ confront themes of grief, revenge, power systems, and hope.

This epic piece of feminist protest art invites you to consider what a society rooted in radical inclusion would look like, and how to build a more compassionate world.
