Professional Development Workshop for artists.
Harlow Playhouse, Harlow
Monday 16 - Thursday 19 July 2018, 10 – 4pm
£150 (£75 deposit required on booking)
Harlow is 20minutes from Liverpool Street Station. A bursary for return train travel from London to Harlow will be provided by Harlow Playhouse.
Who is it for?
This is a workshop for artists that work in dance, dance theatre, devised work and interdisciplinary performance, and artists that want to push the boundaries of their current practice.
If you want to develop your creative movement practice, widen your choreographic tasks, find your artistic voice, take risks in your work.
If you are stuck between genres and don’t know how to brand yourself and which venues to approach.
If you are about to make new work but are procrastinating or you just don’t know how to get started.
If you are new to making work and need a bit of confidence.
If you make solo work, but feel lonely and want to hang out with other people for a bit.
If you are an arts activist and want to affect change in the world through your art.
What will we do?
Over the course of the four days we will examine your artistic voice, develop your devising skills, look at safe autobiographical processes, work with testimonial movement and text, think about our audiences, think about being a boss, have time to think and space to discuss.
How to book:
